After a while of blog abstinence, a new adventure has led me to Cameroon and has hence motivated me to reactivate my travel diary.
My time in the U.S. seems like decades away. The time being in Germany has made me eager to explore new paths. The ASA program and their preparatory seminars have had me think a lot about ‘collecting travels’ or abroad experiences as a white privileged person, which is of course in one sense true and cannot be negated.
Still, I believe that this experience will not only benefit me, but also the organisation MOSOH Cameroun I’m trying to support as an intern and finally the effect of telling my stories back at home.
For now, I am excited to see which new experiences I will have in Nkongsamba, Cameroon and what we will achieve in the three months that we stay and work here.
